Why Does eCoach charge a non-refundable booking fee? |
|
|
A - Your booking fee is not
an extra cost on top of the advertised price. Your booking fee is
included in the quoted total price.
You will be made aware of the actual booking fee before you commit
yourself to making a purchase.
Your booking fee covers all administration costs, internet charges,
credit card processing fees, bank charges and agent/referrer fees.
In the event of your tour being cancelled for which you have
a seat(s) booked on a coach then you will be refunded your full amount less the
applicable booking fee per seat.
An example of a tour being cancelled would be where the cruise ship does
not make it to shore in Cobh (Cork) If you decide to cancel yourself,
then no refund would apply.
Please note: This is the only situation where a
refund will be issued. |

A - No. All
tickets must be purchased in advance. This can be done
online at www.eCoach.ie
or over the phone.

Is it safe to make a
booking online? |
|
|
|
A - We employ security measures
such as Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL) to protect the
loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information.
SSL, which is utilised by most popular browsers, including
Netscape and Microsoft Explorer, provides the advanced
encryption tools necessary to protect information
transmitted between your computer and our server. Encryption
simply means that your information is converted into code
before it is dispatched over the Internet. Our secure server
encrypts all personal information, including your name,
address, and credit card information, so that it cannot be
read as it is transmitted over the Internet when you make a
reservation |

A - All details entered
while making a booking are stored on our secure server.
If your booking is not completed, no details are stored.
We DO NOT store your credit card details |

Will I receive unsolicited email, calls or texts from eCoach? |
|
|
A - No. You will never
receive any unsolicited correspondence in any form from
eCoach. You will be contacted by eCoach by email, phone,
text or post strictly in relation to any booking made only.
Customers who request news and updates from eCoach will
receive periodic emails and occasionally text messages. |

Can I book a one way journey only? |
|
|
|
A - No. Unless
otherwise specified. Unfortunately if you only require a one
way journey you will still be required to pay the full
amount. |

Can the price
change without notice? |
|
|
A - Yes. We will be
constantly monitoring our prices and changing them
accordingly. Early bookings will nearly always be the cheapest.
Obviously once you book and pay, your price cannot change. |

Do you offer student, OAP or child discounts? |
|
|
|
A - We offer discounted
rates to all our customers, so you always get the best value
rates regardless of whether you are a Student, OAP, Child or
otherwise. |

Q -
Will I be on the same coach as all my friends? |
|
|
A - The number of seats
you book on each individual transaction will be considered
as 1 booking and will be on the same coach.
For example, if you book 4 seats in one transaction then all
4 passengers will be on the
same coach.
However if you make a new transaction for more passengers on
the same tour it is likely that they will be on the same
coach but not guaranteed. Please let us know if this is the
case and we will do our best to have all your group on the
same coach.
There may be a rare circumstance where a group may
need to be split for logistical reasons but you will be
notified of this in advance. |

What is minimum and maximum
seats we can book? |
|
|
|
A - You can book just
one seat if you like. The maximum is 20 seats. For groups
larger than 20 please contact us. |

Q -
Will I be issued a ticket when my booking is processed? |
|
|
A - For bookings
online, you will be presented with a booking confirmation
page with a unique booking ID. You will be required to print
this off as your eTicket to board the coach.
For bookings made over the phone, our telesales operator
can email your eTicket or canl inform what details to note in writing.
One eTicket covers the number of people stated on the
booking |
